A few months ago, I found this little table on craigslist …
and I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I have no where to put it (I know, you would think that I could fit a tiny table somewhere … but there really is no place!), so I’ve decided to fix it up and sell
I’m using SW Big Chill and will be stenciling the top, check back to see what it looks like finished!

Love selling madeover pieces! You get all the pleasure of doing a project and then the cash from the sale for future projects! Can't want to see it finished.

Sarah, How do you find such nice craigslist pieces? What do you usually look for when you're shopping for used furniture?
Sarah says
Hi Katy! I use a Craigslist app to help narrow it down quickly … It has photos on the search page which helps a lot! It also helps to check frequently, before the good ones are sold 🙂

What a great little table! And with the stenciled top it's going to be a great piece for a lucky buyer 🙂

Tables are one of the most important components to enhance the appearance of the room. The little table looks really awesome. It is very simple by design but very attractive.

i had to comment, that we have this exact table, it is a hand me down antique, only where your shelf opening is, ours has a drawer, maybe yours did too – in it's former life? It looks gorgeous painted, and since ours is sitting currently in the "table area" of our basement (I cannot get rid of perfectly good little tables like this, because someone always need sone!) I amy just have to copy your idea, ok? I may even have that or a similar stencil… THANK YOU for the inspiration, and your blog is AWESOME!!! following you in my reader now…

Thank you! I was considering building a drawer for it, because it looks like its needs it! So it probably did have one at some point. Glad that you like the stencil, let me know if you end up painting it! Thanks so much for following along! Sarah
