Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a great week! I wanted to quickly pop in and share our nursery plans.
While we plan to have the baby in our room for a while – we’ll be using one the downstairs bedrooms permanently and for naps during the day.
I’ve been extremely indecisive (pregnancy brain?) but here’s the final direction. I love the neutral and light direction that it’s taking with pop of contrast brought in through the textiles and accessories. I just ordered some textiles from Danielle Oakey and we’ve completed our DIY MCM rocking chair (just need pics!) with fabric from Stagg Design Shop
The campaign dresser is a vintage find (I think was just $15!) that David’s mom painted for us – it’s not exactly like the photo, but similar.
I also purchased a gray glider (I hope it’s comfortable! it does have pretty good reviews) – that will either go in this room or upstairs and our MCM rocking chair will go vice versa.
I’m also loving the mix of this wallpaper and print – I think it will be the perfect detail for that wall!
Baby will be here before we know it! I wasn’t feeling well yesterday/last night, so my doctor wanted me to get checked at the hospital as a precaution – we’re both doing ok, but would appreciate your prayers and positive thoughts!

Love your room design. But take care of yourself. That's what's important.

Thanks Mary! I'm feeling much better now – resting did help! Luckily David is doing all the work 🙂

YES! It will be perfect and I'm so obsessed with the little rocking horse and saw how you were fixing it.

Beautiful! I'd like to make one of these design boards. How do you copy images without capturing the background!!? Thanks.
Sarah says
It's pretty easy if you have Photoshop – there are a few different tools to select the white background to delete – depends on what you are selecting as to what tool works best!

ok. Thank you!
