I’m so excited to share our master bedroom refresh with Annie Selke today! We’re currently working on finishing up our master bath reno. This naturally led to redoing the bedroom since we moved the door to the bathroom, we decided to move the bed to the window wall. I wanted the room to feel comfortable and relaxed, so I selected neutral, soft colors with textural finishes. I love how it turned out! Read on for all the details!
I love the easiness of linen for bedding! I added the stone washed linen duvet in shale. It’s super soft, textural and washes beautifully!
Annabelle and Charlotte are fans as well!
We also added the Sorrel Woven Wool rug. I like that it has a tighter weave, but it’s still super soft and cushy under foot. It’s held up great and I anticipate it looking like new for years to come!
I also love the contrast in knit from the braid to balls! I recently made a leather bench cushion for our bench. The bed has gotten a little too full with both dogs, so Annabelle now likes resting here!
On top, is the Kumi throw. It has a gorgeous jacquard weave, which is soft and textural. I wanted to keep the whole space light, but I think every room needs a touch of black for interest. That’s the common thread through all the main spaces in our home.
Getting ready for cooler weather, I love layering a quilt or coverlet with a duvet. The Lush Linen Natural Puff Quilt is super soft. I love the casual tufted pattern with the ease of linen!
Since our headboard is low, I love layering two standard shams per side with a long lumbar in front. This also makes it super easy to make the bed in the morning! The Gradation Linen lumbar pillow has a gorgeous subtle stripe. It comes with an insert which is feather and very substantial (inserts make ALL the difference!)
One of the big selling features of this house was the tall windows in this room. The pups love looking out here too!
John loves getting on the bed (hard to keep him still!) We’ve made a habit of taking family photos at least twice a year! We have a remote for the camera, so that makes it relatively easy! We captured these photos right before we welcomed another little one!
We are loving the new updates! I’m super happy with the quality of the Annie Selke products that we added! As I get older, I try to be more conscious about adding items to my home and wardrobe that are good quality, transition easily from room to room and will last for years to come!
