Spring is right around the corner – these past few days in the 60s have me spoiled – let’s hope it sticks around!
For this month’s Michael’s Makers Challenge – we were asked to use flowers from new Floral Market. With 500 blooms to select from it was difficult to make a decision.
Ultimately, I went with two Orchid stems and leaves and a vintage champagne bucket from a thrift store (just $5!)
The whole process is pretty simple – I just placed some styrofoam in the bottom (it should be snug). Held the Orchid against the side of the bucket and cut the end to length using heavy duty snips. Next, I repeated with the leaves and placed moss on top to fill the space. SUPER simple!
It’s amazing how adding a touch of “fresh” flowers can instantly transform a room for the new season.
