Want to see our new headboard!? Stop by Houzz for the full tutorial! Since we’ll only be in Ohio for 6 months, we wanted something easy, inexpensive, but still a little lux.
By eliminating wood and foam, we were able to make it for only $20!!
This would be perfect for renters, a dorm room, or anyone who likes to change their mind a lot 🙂
Make sure to stop by!

This is genius!!!!
What a great idea! I love it. It allows you to be as creative as you want (in terms of shape). Great article!
So pretty! No one would ever guess what an inexpensive project this is!
Is there anything you can't do? You manage to take inexpensive materials and make them look like a million bucks. Way to go girl! Loving this project!
You are brilliant. What a great look with very low commitment. I know I like to change my mind a lot. 🙂
Amazing what you do. Never ever would have thought of that! Looks chic and expensive, and easy 🙂
Smart, cheap and so pretty. Love everything about it. I wish my tutorials would look as pretty as yours.
Wow! It is STUNNING! I once used insulation board and a similar technique to make a tufted headboard for a rental – but the lines and fabric of yours just really pull off the luxe look so much better! Thanks for the inspiration.
Great idea, no one would ever guess how affordable this is!
Awesome Sarah! How great you can do this for $20! xo Kristin
Sarah…this is beautiful. And I cannot believe you managed to do it under $20!?! You are such a rock star girl! Love it. 😉
Love this!! We just turned an old sofa table into an island… Complete with wheels… we use it all the time now!! Good luck! 🙂
