For today’s get the look, I’m using one of my recent favorite bedroom pins. I’m typically not a huge fan of purple in adult spaces because it can look youthful easily. However, this room by Gary Riggs Home works because the purple is the perfect shade and mixed with bold yellows and patterns and an eclectic mix of furniture/accessories are perfection! I want move right in!
I’ve put together a list of how to get a similar look (either exact or close to sources) of the furniture and accessories in this space. See below the images for the sources!
kravet prospect shadow | world market origami pillow | target fieldcrest silk allure quilt | west elm chevron duvet |

I think that my next bed must include an upholstered frame. I love how tailored it looks! The rug is beyond amazing too! I’m crazy about the subtle pattern and sheen.
What about you? Are you ready to move in too? 🙂

Really chic and beautiful! Love the yellow and purple!
I have an upholstered bed frame and love it. I'm not the bed skirt kind of girl 😉

We have a bedskirt and I hate how it moves around (I guess I should pin it in place 🙂 I definitely want an upholstered frame next!

i really love the bed. except they require a box spring. Boo. I'm looking for an upholstered bed that's like not crazy expensive, not weird microfiber or leather. like the one above basically but no box spring required.

I actually happened upon your blog because I was googling this exact room! I have poked around a bit and started following you, and you have provided lots of great inspiration. I am in love with this room, and think it offers the perfect tranquil but classy space I'm going for. I have a question for you: if you were to choose curtains, what type would you choose? Would you bring in a pattern, in yellow or in purple, or bring in a different color?
Thanks!

Hi Kylee! A small scale pattern to contrast the duvet in yellow or purple could look great!
