Sorry for no post yesterday, Annabelle and I drove to Maryland to take care of a few things .. my CA tags expire at the end of the month and since we’re leaving Ohio in March or April, it didn’t make sense to get tags there. Oh and the well motor died in our Maryland house, so yesterday was spent driving and taking care of that. Hopefully, the car inspection and DMV trip goes as planned today (probably my least favorite places to go ..) fun stuff!

Love this! I'm curious: does this system support a fair amount of weight? I have a rather large marble slab coffee table with a 1980's base that I'm not fond of. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to build a different base and this is the look I'm hoping for.

Hi Hannah! For something heaver like a marble slab, I would recommend using steel with bolted or welded connections rather than aluminum with aluminum rivets.

Love how the trunk table came out! I really need to try my hand at some metal work. It seems so intimidating but you make it look easy 🙂

Oh my goodness I have a very similar brass trunk, and lately I've been wishing it was taller! Headed over to check it out!
