One Room Challenge | Week 1

Hey friends!! David and I decided to participate in the One Room Challenge, you can find all the details, here, if you’re not familiar! This will be our first one, we’re so excited to see how it turns out! For 6 weeks, we’ll be sharing our progress, I hope you’ll follow along 🙂 We’re also in the process of finishing up photos for our book (to be published in 2019!), so hopefully this isn’t too much. I asked David and he said, let’s do it!

We will be tackling our basement – taking it from furniture hoard storage and unfinished exposed utility closet to a TV area for us and playroom for John.

Here is what the space looked like right after we moved in, and not much has changed since, except it got filled with more furniture. Over the weekend, we cleared the space out and prepping the space!!

Yikes! I’ll be glad to get this covered up!
