Hi all! Just wanted to pop in and let you know why posting has been a little slower recently.. Between working on (exciting!) projects that I can’t quite share yet .. some really not so fun life stuff .. and preparing to move in a few weeks. We’ve been stretched pretty thin.
I’ve also been on social media and the internet less in general (so if I haven’t been commenting, responding to email, etc. that’s why!) .. as it’s constant reminder of where you feel like you’re coming up short etc.. But I keep telling myself that I am BLESSED and life is full of ups and downs and hopefully the ups will be coming soon!
Onto the happy stuff, here’s what to expect in the near term!
In the next few months you can expect ..
If you missed my post the other week, at the end of April (after 6 years of apartment living!) we will finally be moving into our home full time! So in the next few months, we’ll start chronicling our renovation journey!! We can’t wait!
In the next few weeks you can expect ..
Our Home Depot Patio Style Challenge will be live!! A few have been posted on Home Depot’s blog, take a look here! You can find sneak peeks for my space on Instagram!
In the next few days you can expect ..
The AFTER of this chair! I can’t wait to share 🙂
See you soon friends!

It's hard not to get mired down in the harder seasons of life. I'm always trying to tell myself that they really are just seasons and to focus on the blessings…but no one can do that all the time 🙂 Hope all goes well with the move, I'm so happy for you that you will finally be in that beautiful home full time!!

oh sarah, for what it's worth, i have NEVER ever seen you come up short. you are a star in my eyes. i know the feeling though. but seriously girl, it's all up from here, in the good sense. not in the sense of it's all up and you have to run 4 miles uphill like i have to in a few weeks. that would be the bad kind of up.

Completely relating to your second paragraph and so sorry to hear you've been feeling that way. I couldn't imagine you coming up short in any comparison – you're the best by far at what you do. But part of the creative personality seems to be a heaping dose of self-critique, so believe me when I say I understand!! Sending virtual hugs and well wishes your way. So thrilled for you that you'll be in your own home soon! xo
