Hi all!
You may have seen on my instagram stories that we’re working on our guest room. It’s right off of the lower bathroom and nursery – we’ll actually be staying there when we transition John to the crib at night.
Here’s the mood board that I created for the space. Nightstands and dresser are from my grandparent’s house (I linked something similar) My goal is for the space to be relaxed, comfortable, and layered. I purchased sconces and the rug from West Elm on Friday (extra 20% off sale items ends soon!) and materials to make the headboard from Michaels – yes! they sell fabric and foam online.
Here’s the space in it’s current state. With the window right above the headboard – we’ll be creating a low long, upholstered headboard for the space.
Love Brady’s headboard as inspiration!
Please pin from original source, here, thanks!
We’ve been working on so many projects that aren’t ready to share (though the nursery is very close!) so it’s nice to work on something that can be completed in just a few weeks! Sometimes you need to see something complete to stay motivated! Stay tuned!

LOVE the sconce, quite the investment, but can work in so many rooms! I read Brady's post when he demonstrated how EASY that headboard was, and was sure someone would want to do similar, can't wait to see what you come up with, you're so creative and your projects are so good. What do you have planned for the window (is there just the one)? Soft roman, like Brady, or is that a new shade already?
