Today, I’m SO excited to share with you our newly renovated downstairs bathroom!
Everything (with the exception of the round mirror) came from Home Depot – I love the custom look that you can get by combining off the shelf items and DIY projects!
We decided repurpose our existing vanity – take off the partial overlay doors and drawers and replace with DIY full overlay doors and drawers. We removed the toe kick and added feet. Painted it white and added sleek pulls.
For the countertop, we made our own mold (measured twice!) out of melamine MDF – poured Sakrete and let it sit for 4 days until removing the mold.
We left a hole in the center for a semi recessed sink and our gorgeous new Anzzi faucet! I love the modern lines and it’s super heavy, sturdy and well made.
After removing the tile – we added backer board to the floor – this helps give a sturdy surface.
Thanks so much to Home Depot for providing the gorgeous Anzzi faucet and a gift card to cover part of the renovation costs – as always, I only share companies and products that I love and have had a great experience with!
Inspirational as always! Love the way it looks and definately looking forward to a tutorial on that concrete top. Congrats

I cannot get over how much I love that floor tile! It's fabulous! Great combo of the floor and wall tile – the really dark grout with the subway tile is very sharp. Absolutely love this bathroom.
This looks fantastic!! Can you do a post on how you did the new cabinets doors? I need to do a similar thing with a bunch of cabinets in my house. Thank you!!
I cannot tell you how much i want to rip the crappy face frames off of all of our cabinets and do full overlay doors, but i'd have no idea where to start! I need a visual or a walk thru. I'd love if if you did a tutorial!
Sarah! this is so gorgeous. I am in love with all of it. So inspiring. And the classic subway tile is just so good. xo
